# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The guava adds this incredible tropical brightness that cuts through all that rich creaminess
  • It comes together in literally ten minutes but tastes like something you spent all day perfecting
  • Everyone asks for the recipe and nobody believes how simple it actually is
02 -
  • The guava marmalade needs to be really soft or you'll end up with tiny chunks in your drink
  • Shaking before serving isn't optional since the coconut milk loves to separate in the fridge
  • This actually keeps for about five days but good luck making it last that long
03 -
  • Buy guava paste instead of marmalade and melt it down with a splash of warm water for a more intense flavor
  • Let the blended mixture sit in the fridge overnight before adding the rum for even better flavor development
